Indian seafood exports have grown exponentially over the past 5 years and reached all time high of US$ 5.5 billion during 2014-15. In 2015-16, India exported 9,45,892 MT of quality seafood worth US$ 4.7 Billion and is expected to achieve US $ 5.6 Billion in 2016-17. Sustainable fishing methods, increased aquaculture production particularly of Litopenaeus vannamei facilitates participation in this growth story.
The event is proposed to have 350 stalls and 20,000 delegates from India and abroad. Farmers, entrepreneurs from all areas of aquaculture and aquariculture sectors can register as exhibitors and delegates.
